D.I.Y - Easy Peasy Bunting

Eek! Its time for my first D.I.Y post! This Bunting is so so easy to make, you don't even need a sewing machine! Its very basic, single layer bunting, double layered bunting coming up soon!
What you will need is..

Material
Needle and thread to match your material
Scissors
Garden Twine
Pins

1.Cut your pennants. The ones below are around 20cm long and 16cm wide. When cutting, bear in mind that you will need around 2cm seam allowance at the top to attach them to your twine.

2.Measure your twine to your desired length. The one shown is 2.5 meters long, but you can make it any length you want (sorry about the awful picture, the dogs mauled the twine!)

3.Take your pennant and fold it over the top of the twine. Pin in place. You will need to leave around 10cm before this so you have room to add loops at the end. Sew your pennant onto the twine. You can either sew just below the twine so the fabric will move, or you can sew the twine to the fabric, so the pennant is sewed in place.

4.Sew all the pennants in place. When you have finished, take the end of the twine and make a small loop. This is so you can "hook" onto your wall. Yo can also add a button on the end of first and last flags to hook the hook around for a lovely finishing touch.

And... Voile! Beautiful easy make bunting! Here's one i made earlier (ha ive always wanted to say that!...

Beautiful! <3
